The Space Elevator

Our ascent had begun…

We soon felt a slight pull, then began to feel The RielZen-II rise.  The seats were quite comfortable and offered an unobstructed view of what seemed like the entire universe. The saucer rotated ever so slowly revealing a 360degree view of NorSoom and her stellar rings, surrounded by her six moons.

It was a close up view few people would ever experience. Gasp, murmurings, and apprized exclamations, were the primary sounds heard from most passengers as the reality unfolded. Then the sounds lapsed…almost in unison, into reverent whispers and awestruck stares as we slowly ascended to the stars.

How can one not be moved, sitting in a front row seat being privileged to observe the celestial sight of majestic rings circling a mighty planet?

We watched in awe as the copious children of Norsoom traveled right before our eyes, seemingly from all directions.

What seemed like an infinite number of minerals, and metals mixed in bedrocks of crystalline structures were revealing themselves to us from a close distance as we approached the rings.

With the universe presenting a celestial backdrop, our spiritual emotions soared to unimaginable fulfillment.

The elevator was ascending into heaven for a short visit. The Angels carried us gently on their shoulders, delivering us majestically to this time and place.

It is a memory that is forever etched in our minds..

Planet of The Islands

One of the planets orbiting our third sun Telios, is BeLise

BeLise is about 1.2 times larger than DianToz. Like all planets and moons, Belise has been subjected to major impacts from asteroids, at various times in its history.  The antiquity of BeLise is filled with countless mass extinctions, forcing the origin of life in a perpetual reboot.  In some of these epoch extinctions, BeLise was left with only microscopic organisms.

In our current timeline, BeLise has evolved into a world of abundant plant, animal, and sea life.

Regrettably, there was never enough time for a higher intelligence to evolve on land.

One side of the planet was battered particularly hard, so much so; that collective impacts of the asteroids did not allow any continents to form. Instead, you will find a world dotted with islands on the one half, and only the boundless ocean on the far side of the world.

Because BeLise is a world where half of the planet is covered with legions of islands, here is home to arguably the most alluring beaches in The Tri-System.  We refer to BeLise as “Planet of the Islands”.

BeLise has 3 moons, with the largest moon MaTos having it’s very own set of rings around it.  Many believe “The Rings of MaTos” to be one of The Great Wonders of The Tri-System.

Sailing the alien, exotic seas at night with the Rings of MaTos visible in the night sky is considered a spiritual treasure. It is said(according to The Alpha Scout Archives) that upon frequenting this Sphere of wonder, one is imbued with a transcendental odyssey.

Climate Crisis

The world of DianToz once  suffered great devastation at the hands of catastrophic climate change.  Our species produced poisonous gasses through industrialization that nearly destroyed our civilization.

As we produced carbon dioxide, methane and other gases our oceans became warmer.  Hurricanes and Cyclones grew in titantic magnitude and ravaged our world delivering herculean winds and rain storms to crowded parts of the planet.  Many coastal cities were reduced to ground zero.

Because the polar caps experienced significant loss of ice and snow, countless islands and coastlines soon disappeared. Numberless people from all walks of life lost loved ones and material value. The only thing that remained for many were memories of better times.

As the great benefactors stepped up their battle against time, resources were no longer a problem.  Science began to Solve the perilous dilemma of climate change.

One of the ways our civilization had great success was using zero carbon synthetic fuels. Upon the discovery of a new technology that could create synthetic fuel by removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, the time to reverse the damage went from decades to months.

Empiricism was saving our world.

The New Land Rush

Space Life is a breathtaking adventure.  Asteroid Travel has become a very popular path for many of our people. AT has become an expedient way to reach all three solar systems in a alluring manner. Asteroids as home bases are also far easier logistically than a massive planet.

A major land rush came into existence as new worlds became the destination for many.  Some choose living in one place and becoming involved in hands-on experiences utilizing enduring terraform projects and exotic genetic technologies. A more permanent habitat… A place they can call home.

Others choose the exploration of  multiple wonders of a trinary star system. Whether one chose a planet, a moon, an asteroid, or even multiple asteroids crossing our three stars, home could be anywhere.  Some of us call one world home and others call the stars home. Migrating through the asteroids was the more expedient and preferred choice of those who wanted the latter.  There was ample real estate in asteroids.

For the first time in perhaps tens of thousands of years, dating back to the time when we had left our equator and migrated north, there are not enough people for all the available land.

The Space Frontier has been waiting for it’s children to come home.

Plenty of room for everyone. No more need for wars to possess land.

We have become a race of Space Nomads of a CosmoCratic Society

Economic Revolution

Less than 100 years ago scientists and developmental thinkers warned that civilization was faced with a perfect storm of ecological and social problems driven by overpopulation, overconsumption, and environmentally baleful technologies.

The difficult economic times were understandable given the misguided values of economics. There needed to be a deep fundamental restructuring of the economic principles in the current global system.

In the face of absolutely unprecedented crisis facing our civilization, The Interstellar Mining Foundation had no choice but to take dramatic action to avert a collapse of civilization. Either DianToz had to change and build an entirely new kind of global civilization, or face catastrophic consequences.

The Interstellar Mining Foundation could have held everybody hostage with its incredible wealth and power, instead, in its benevolence IMF came to the rescue. IMF had prepared well. These were the most successful and altruistic business people on the planet who enacted wisely.

By this time the world was moving towards globalization anyway as each nation became interdependent with all the others. When the revolution came, it was a peaceful series of events for most of the planet. There were a few rogue nation states who rebelled. But these despots had dwindling wealth and powers that were no match for The Great Transformation.

Soon all of DianToz was becoming united in a central cause that was always intended and dreamed about, but never fully realized. The great majority of DianToz was becoming a middle class that finally had a voice.
